Lindy Fok – Director


Lindy was born and raised in Hong Kong and is a native English speaker. She has 3 children who have attended both local and international schools so she is familiar with both systems.


Being a founding partner of Kiddikraft she is passionate about making learning interesting and fun for children. She is outgoing and creative and takes an active role in planning curriculum and teaching at Kiddikraft. She understands that parents have high expectations of Kiddikraft and strives to work with her team to meet these expectations.

 

 

Jacqui Kwan – Director


Director and founding partner of Kiddikraft, Jacqui was born in Hong Kong, went to DGS, graduated from the Hong Kong International School and furthered her tertiary education at the University of Southern California.


Originally Jacqui was more involved in behind the scenes administrative work at Kiddikraft but now has taken a keen interest in teaching the Centres because she understands the importance of making the classes interesting and fun for the children. Her children are the most important part of her life and she enjoys watching her son play tennis and loves to spend time cooking with her daughter. Together with her 7 dogs at home, her most important hobby is looking after foster puppies for the SPCA where she is a dedicated life member.

 

 

Gladys Lo – Manager, KiddiPlay, Kidditots and RWI


Gladys holds a BBA (Hon) degree in Business Management from the RMIT University, Australia and is a registered teacher for the RWI programmes of the Oxford University Press. She has studied child psychology and counseling, and was one of the organisers for the Mother’s Support Group at Canossa Hospital where she arranged interactive workshops to share her experience with raising children. She started teaching when she had her first child in 2002. She has been leading playgroups, singspiration and teaching various children activities in her church and privately since that time. Children respond well to her active, lively and interactive mode of teaching. Gladys adores children and is enthusiastic and is keen to help them develop their potential. She loves to play piano, has had years of vocal training and has recently developed an interest in photography.

 

 

Sherina Utam – RWI Manager/English Co-ordinator


Sherina studied at a British School in Hong Kong before moving to Switzerland to study languages. She worked at Kiddikraft from 2000 – 2004 as Head Teacher of playgroup. In 2005 she moved to Australia with her familywhere she received her Diploma in Day Care Management. In January 2010 she moved back to Hong Kong and rejoined Kiddikraft as the RWI Manager and English Coordinator. She is currently studying for her Degree in Early Childhood Education.


Sherina enjoys spending time with her children. She loves to read and write. She is currently working on completing her first children’s book.



Anita Patel –Playgroup Head Teacher, RWI, Kidditots and Kiddiplay


Anita is Kiddikraft’s Head Playgroup Teacher. She has been with Kiddikraft for over two years and is an inspiring role model for both teachers and her students. Her dedication to bringing fresh and creative ideas to playgroups gives students a consistently fun and educational experience. She is a qualified kindergarten and Montessori teacher who is passionate about her classes, students, and life. 

 

 

Mike Ying – Kidditots, KiddiTalk, RWI, and Creative Writing


Mike has studied Political Science, Legal Studies, and Philosophy at Macalester College (Minnesota, USA), and obtained his CELTA certification at the Australian College of English (Sydney, Australia). It was from his mum, Teacher Tata (who used to be Head Teacher at Kiddikraft), that he gets his passion for children and teaching. Outside of Kiddikraft, Mike enjoys cooking, music and playing football and Ultimate Frisbee.

 


Rose Jung – Time to Talk English and English Foundation


Rose is one of our long time Kiddikraft teachers as she has been with KiddiKraft since 1997. She was born in Canada and graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BA in Psychology and a Teaching degree.


Rose is very enthusiastic and all her classes are high energy! Children who attend her classes are highly motivated and have a great time! She has been trained in Letterland and Jolly Phonics since and is now a certified RWI teacher.

 

 

Carol Wong (Time to Talk, Early Start, RWI, KiddiWrite and Speech Festival Training)


Carol is a native English speaker. Born and educated in the UK, she has worked in Hong Kong for over 15 years in the marketing communications and training field. She has 2 young children, both in local schools and as a parent she has a unique understanding of the local education system. She is passionate about teaching young learners and often adds creativity, fun and humour into her classes. Her interests include playing the piano, blogging, reading at a local primary school and she is currently working on her first children’s story. Carol has a BA Hons language degree, a Masters of Business Adminstration, a Trinity CertTESOL qualification and she is also a certified RWI teacher.

 

 

Belinda Lee (Early Start, RWI and Speech Festival Training)

 

Belinda moved to Sydney with her family in her early teens and only returned to HK after she has received her Masters degree in Economics and Tax from the University of Sydney. Belinda is very fond of children and has been teaching English Phonics and Speech at a local primary school for over 7 years. She was also nominated by church and has been teaching the church’s summer English courses for a number of years. Her students, including her young son are regular winners at various English Speech and Story Telling competitions. Belinda is a cheerful and devoted teacher, her motto being “nothing surpasses learning with fun”. Other than teaching, Belinda enjoys playing the piano and electric organ, playing with her pets chinchillas as well as reading with her son.

 



Marc Waldburger (KiddiPlay, KiddiTots, RWI and KiddiWrite)

 

Marc studied History at the London School of Economics and University College London, it was during this time that he also received his TEFL certificate. He has always loved children and have worked with them at all ages in playgroups, primary schools, learning centres and private tuition.

 

He is extremely passionate about literature and is currently attempting to write his own novel. He also enjoy cooking, music and films.



Gloria So – KiddiTots and KiddiPlay


Gloria joined Kiddikraft in May 2001 and since then she has made a tremendous contribution to our playgroup classes. She holds a degree in Performing Arts (Dance) from the HK Academy of Performing Arts. She has also majored in Modern Dance and attended numerous workshops on how to teach dance to young children.


Gloria has a great love of dance, especially Ballroom and Latin dance and she was won several firsts in dance competitions in Hong Kong.


 

Genevieve Chang – Kidditots & KiddiPlay


Genny joined KiddiKraft as a playgroup teacher in 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Her Mandarin studies in Taiwan garnered her 3 scholarships in National Taiwan Normal University, one of which was awarded and sponsored by the President Ma Ying Jeou.


Geny has over 6 years of professional experience in teaching English all over Asia, including China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. She is creative and is very passionate about teaching and does her best to provide a fun learning experience for all children.


 

Tracy Poon – (Kidditots, Time to Talk, Early Start & RWI)


Tracy began her teaching career upon graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in English Studies. She has taught everything from English to Arts and Crafts and even cooking to students of all ages. For the last few years Tracy has focused on teaching English to children aged 18 months to 12 years and especially enjoys playgroup! In her free time Tracy enjoys getting involved in various drama productions, and most recently co-produced the 2010 Hong Kong Singers’ production of “Oliver” at the Hong Kong City Hall.


 

Agnes Chow (KiddiPlay, KiddiTots, Time to Talk, Early Start and RWI)


Teacher Agnes joined Kiddikraft in 2009 and is been one of our playgroup teachers. Teacher Agnes was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Toronto, Canada. After graduated from University of Toronto in 2006, she returned to Hong Kong and had been working as an early childhood educator and English teacher, enhancing children’s conversational and listening skills in English through play and phonics programs such as Letterland and Jolly Phonics. She is also working with children from different cultural backgrounds as she teaches at international nurseries and kindergartens. Her deep interest in this field has motivated her to attain a Master of Education (Early Childhood Education) degree at HKBU to acquire a stronger basis of understanding. Teacher Agnes is also TEFL qualified and currently being trained as a certified RWI teacher. She loves working with children and is highly motivated.

 

 

Vian Chak (KiddiPlay, KiddiTots, Time to Talk, RWI, C&W & KiddiWrite)

 

Vian was born in Hong Kong but attended a boarding school in Oxford at a young age.  Having obtained her BA (Hon) degree from the University of Edinburgh, she returned to Hong Kong to pursue a career in education.  She enjoys teaching phonics to children (especially the younger ones); which led her onto completing a Jolly Phonics teaching course with the CPD College in the UK. She is very easy going and enjoy baking, travelling and exploring new places, experiences which she endeavours to incorporate into her lessons to make them more fun and interactive.

 

 

Candy Lee (Time to Talk, Early Start, RWI, C&W and KiddiWrite)


Candy was born in Hong Kong but moved to California with her family at a young age. After graduating from Smith College (Massachusetts, USA) with a degree in economics and education, she returned to Hong Kong to pursue a career in education. She has experience working with diverse groups of children and adolescents in different settings such as being a bilingual tutor and leading summer camps. She considers herself a lifelong learner and loves learning from her students as much as she enjoys teaching them. Candy loves to travel and experience different cultures, meet new people, and most importantly, try new food!

 

 

Karen Ng – Private Tutor (Time to Talk, RWI, C&W and KiddiWrite)
 
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and has also obtained a TEFL certificate.  She has lived in the UK for 9 years and have now moved back to Hong Kong after graduation. 
 
She is greatly enthusiastic about teaching young children and tries her very best to make lessons pleasurable and enjoyable for them.  In her leisure time, she does a lot of outdoor sports and activities such as rock climbing, cycling and hiking, as well as cooking and playing musical instruments.


 

Ada Niermeier – Musikgarten


Ada is a mother of two young daughters. She has her Bachelor of Music degree in piano, and a Master of Music Education degree from the University of Victoria, B.C, Canada. Ada has taught and worked at many teaching establishments and schools – including Victoria Nursery center in Victoria, B.C., the University of Victoria, Canadian International School and Hong Kong international School. She has over 20 years teaching piano, band, theory and history to beginners and more advanced students. This immense experience gives her insight to solving the complex challenges of instrumental playing. Apart from the piano, Ada plays the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, euphonium, trombone, tuba, percussions and cello. She is a registered teacher at Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada, a certified teacher in Hong Kong and is a licensed Musikgarten instructor.

 


Feng Lo See – Putonghua (Kowloon Tong Branch)


範老師:漢話語言文學專業畢業。隨著名兒童藝術教育家王曦先生〔加明叔叔〕學習教導之藝術及方法。專職從事中文及普通話補習工作十多年。她依學生的性格、愛好和個人能力施教,注重培養學生的學習興趣、思考能力和創造能力;善於利用活動教學,讓學生在遊戲中學習各種能力。地敬業愛業,嚴格而又生動的教學十分受小朋友喜愛。
